Walking around the historic centre of Chester and what a great find! Inside you find a light and airy interior, great decor and furnishings. There's outdoor seating options too. Cinderbox Coffee was easy to locate along Bridge Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. A good choice of bread rolls, croissants, cakes, pastries and sandwiches. They all looked incredibly delicious!

We needed an early breakfast before heading home after dropping our daughter off at uni, Cinderbox Coffee opens at 8am even on a Sunday, we ordered 2 large breakfasts and an eggs royal along with coffee and juice, the staff are very friendly and efficient, the food was all cooked to order and the quality was great. Nice relaxed atmosphere and didn't feel at all hurried, we didn't get a chance to try the pastries but will be going back next time we are in Chester

We came in here for the first time today and were treated so kindly by all the staff. They were so lovely to us (especially the chef who sent plates with smiley faces made of fruit to cheer up the children who were both ill!). The food and the drinks were delicious and we felt really glad we came here today. I haven't had Welsh rarebit in ages and was glad I chose it.The atmosphere was also very relaxed too - people were coming up to us to chat and it just felt like a lovely place.
