Can't believe I've missed this for the last 7 years! Hidden away it's a gem of a bar. Jazz, wines, malt whisky and even a few craft beers in cans. And super friendly. Top gaff Aled!

The bar is so warm and friendly inside. The owner was wonderful and welcoming. Smooth jazz plays on vinyl and the place is lit by candle light and clever musical instrument soft lighting fixtures. The walls are adorned with jazz references and you have to be careful not to stay too long in the loo to read all the wonderful art.

We love it here. There's not a lot of alcolohic choice, but there's always an option for what you would drink. Quaint, relaxed, and friendly. It's one of our favourite bars in Chester. We were a fan of the 1/2 San Miguel and a shot of bourbon for £6!
