Great little city centre pub right off the main drag. Enjoyed a couple of real ales in a cozy atmosphere listening to a decent music mix at just the right volume. It was busy when we arrived but most of the people left for the horse racing that was taking place that afternoon. All in all an enjoyable visit .

Don't let the cosy/ small size fool you. Gets really busy towards midnight and limited patrons are allowed in. Once you're in though, the music and the beers hit you like no place else! Always had a lovely time here whether with my mates or office colleagues. Fun fact: only pub in Chester with a historically incorrect spelling name... Let me know in the comments if you spot it?

Went on a stag doo on race day! Happy days... The Marlborough Arms was the place to be with live music and good ale! We spent a good amount of time in there and the staff really held their own, bar staff grafted to keep queues to a minimum! I would definitely visit again
